Hello crafty friends, yay its the weekend, what are you up to? I have just received some very exciting stamps and dies by Mama Elephant called Incoming Mail. They are as cute as a button! I also got some new alcohol markers, I have loads but of course I needed to try these, they are called Finecolour, they are a whole lot cheaper than Promarkers but are very similar. Here is the finished card below but I have put the instructions of how I acheived it below... happy crafting.....
So I have prepared a 6.5" x 6.5" card base, and cut a blue mat 6 x 6. I then cut a piece of white linen card 5.75" x 5.75" and distressed it all over with squeezed lemonade, blueprint sketch and worn lipstick, I then spritzed this with water, left for 30 seconds and dabbed off the water drops with a clean cloth.
I stamped the panda, mail and mailbox onto stamping card, die cut with the matching dies and coloured in with my finecolour pens, then I stuck them to my card layer, with some gems to give some sparkle. I heat embossed the sentiment, using a woodware basic set, in blue pigment ink and clear embossing powder, mounted onto a red layer, and placed on my card like a stamp! I liked that touch.
I hope you like it and have a go with this type of card yourself!
Not a bow in sight, I must be ill !!
