Hello everyone, sorry we have been a bit slack on the blogging front, but we are making amends with 2 blog posts this week, and mine has been inspired by the Chocolate Baroque stamp, Flora Musica. I love it so much, and will be using this stamp over the next couple of days, as will Rossella.
There are so many beautiful stamps to choose from that it becomes quite difficult to choose!
I have stamped this in Archival black ink, and coloured in with the fabulous Kuretake clean colour pens. I used black, unsurprisingly and used my water brush to move the ink around. Finished off with flourescent pink, which picked up the pink in the layer. I used a grey silver die cut from Anna Griffin too, from the recent Weekend Wonder.
I decided not to use a die to cut the image out, as too for the sentiment, I assumed that anyone looking doesn't have a die cutting machine, yet! But its really easy to cut around using a wriggly cut, if you want to know more, I shall do a tutorial next week, and about time too I hear you shout....I hope you like it:
